About GSM
Guntur Spinning Mills Pvt. Ltd. (GSM) was established in 2006 with an initial capacity of 15,600 spindles dedicated to the production of 100% cotton yarn. From the very beginning, the company has focused on delivering superior quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction, earning a strong reputation in the textile industry and generating growing demand for its yarn.
In 2015, GSM expanded its manufacturing capacity by adding 17,280 spindles, increasing the total capacity to 32,880 spindles. Today, the company produces approximately 15 tons of yarn per day.
As part of its continuous commitment to innovation and quality enhancement, GSM upgraded its spinning operations in 2016 by adopting 100% ELITE Compact – SUESSEN Technology. In 2020, the spinning division was further modernized with a 100% Spindle Monitoring System from Premier Evolvics, ensuring superior quality consistency and operational efficiency.
To meet evolving market requirements and create greater value for customers, GSM added specialized yarn manufacturing capabilities, including:
- Slub Yarn Production (2023)
- TFO Doubling Yarn Facility (2025)

GSM manufactures a wide range of yarn counts from 30s to 60s, including:

The company's products are supplied to customers across India and exported to several countries in Asia.
Sustainability Initiatives
Committed to sustainable growth and environmental responsibility, GSM has made significant investments in renewable energy.
- 2018: Commissioned a 2 MW Wind Power Plant (Siemens Gamesa) at Molagavalli, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh.
- 2024: Installed a 1 MW Rooftop Solar Power System, further strengthening its commitment to green energy and reducing its carbon footprint.
